First post from J-Hoppers Kyoto.

What are you going to do in Kyoto? Visiting temples and shrines? Watching Geisha (Geiko in Kansai dialect) performances or the tea ceremony? Yes, we have 1,600 temples and more than 400 shrines, and you would encounter Geiko or Maiko (Geiko apprentices) around Gion district. These are essential parts of Kyoto, but lacking individuality. Why don't you make your stay in Kyoto something special? We willingly help you if you want to cook Japanese food in our kitchen, or wearing Kimono at the lobby. Or we would whisper to you and let you know staff's secret spots where almost all tourist don't know. Please feel free to ask questions and rely on us. We are very welcome you all "J-Hoppers".
