FUKUOKA Hana Hostel

J-Hoppers group will open FUKUOKA Hana Hostel on March 4th !!!

Chika, Kana (Both are the funniest staff from Hiroshima branch) and me went there for the viewing.
Ueno-san, who is preparing for the new branch with all his energy, and Hayashi-san, who is a funky carpenter, Both were at the busiest moment but they welcomed us! (Thank you!)

Fukuoka is the 4th biggest city in Japan and there are pretty much everything.

I is famous for Ramen with pork based soup. It has a thick broth and very tasty.
Nakasu is famous area for drinking, mostly with young girls.
Also there are Forever21 and H&M what we do not have in Kyoto.
Kyushu island where Fukuoka is has a lot of hot springs, volcano, beach...etc.
.......Fukuoka is nice!

We hope that many tourists visit 『Fukuoka Hana Hostel - 福岡花宿-』 to enjoy Fukuoka, Kyusyu and the hostel!!!

*☆*Fukuoka Hana Hostel*☆*

Hello from Hiroshima Hana Hostel, its Kana here.
I have been working at Hana for almost 2 years?? now. Time flies..
There were only 2 Hana hostel until last June. One in Kyoto and here in Hiroshima.

Hana Osaka opened last June! and FUKUOKA Hana will be opened in March...NEXT MONTH.

I visited Fukuoka Hana Hostel between Feb 23rdand 25th with Chika from J-hoppers Hiroshima and Tamtam from J-hoppers Kyoto.

I became speechless once I  found out where it located. Close to HAKATA Station, few minutes walk toCANAL CITY (huge shopping mall), beside river,3 sec walk to 100 yen shop, few minutes walk to 24 hours super market, famous "Toorimon"(Rice cake) souvenir shop is just cross the road..

Only few minutes walk to Nakasu where all restaurants and bars are gathered.

I guarantee that anyone who comes to Fukuoka Hana Hostel will have convenient and comfortable stay!

Farewell to all my J Hoppers and Hana Hostel buddies.

I have worked at J Hoppers for well over a year and had an amazing time. This is mostly down to my work buddies Chika and Masa. They have been so amazing to work with, and have taught me so much. I am forever thankful. From my first training days right up until my last shift, they have always been there if I needed anything. And when you have two girls who are like sisters to work with, you cannot ask for anything better. It made my life at work, and in Japan really enjoyable. Thank you kindly.

If I was never given the chance by our awesome boss Iida San, then I would have never been able to meet you all. So he deserves lots of praise for giving me this opportunity and taking the chance with me. He is a true friend and a great guy.

Yamaguchi San has also been nothing other than a real gentleman when ever I have had the pleasure of meeting with him. And Im sure he will have plenty more fans now he has shown everyone his feminine side. A shoe in to becoming the next AKB member. Im sure if you were ever to
finish being an awesome manager, you would have no problem finding a job dancing in a bar somewhere.

And I could not go on with out thanking all the other staff members in Hiroshima who have supported me in many different areas. Suru San, Kawa Chan, Nishikawa Chan, Mayumi chan and Tei San when she worked with us. We had some busy times and everyone has pulled together to make it work. Cheers.

Our lovely neighbor Takeda San, who has to be one of the friendliest guys I have ever met. He was always darting in and out of his shop next door, and always exchanged pleasantries when ever we bumped into one another. I hope I grow up to be as kind and friendly as him.

I have decided to go to school and learn Japanese on a full time basis for one whole year. It will be 5 days a week for 7 hours a day. I will be a full time Japanese student at the YMCA Hiroshima. So this means that I will be only a few minuets away from Dobashi Station (Near JH Hiroshima). So I will be coming in to say hi as often as possible.

To everyone else, thank you all ever so much. You will all be truly missed and never forgotten.

P.S. If my performance at the 'Shine Ryoko' dressed as a lady has given anyone nightmares......I am truly sorry. >.< Im sure the pictures will come back to haunt me forever.

xxx THANK YOU ALL xxx

Fish therapy

Have you ever tried fish therapy?

I watched them on the TV long time ago and always wanted to try it.
Finally I had a chance to do it at the Spa World in Osaka!!

Excuse my feet.....

The fish are called "Garra rufa" also "Doctor fish".
When we put our feet in the pool, they eat only the dead areas of the skin and leaving the healthy skin to grow.

I have no idea how it feels like, because when I watched TV, some comedians were screaming to do it.
I thought it might be a little bit sore, but it wasn't - It was fantastic!!!

It feels like there are tiny electric shock happen on my legs.
It was ticklish at the beginning but 10minutes later, my legs looked much whiter and my toes looks so clean and it was so refreshing!

Normally animals run away when we approach them, but doctor fish are actually approach you and that was amazing feeling.

I tried it first, and my mum and her fried were watching, but they decided to try it as well.

I think it was torture for my friend...

I forgot that she was so ticklish person!!!

But she was all right after some time and we really enjoyed it very much!

I highly recommend this therapy.
where I did was at the Spa World in Osaka
1,000yen for 10minutes

Please try it if you have a chance!

What do you do on Valentine's Day?

February 14th is Saint Valentine's Day♪
St. Valentine's Day is celebrated on February 14th in many countries around the world.

What do you do on Valentine's Day?

February 14th is Valentine's Day when women can confess their feelings for the men they secretly love in Japan.
To the men that she doesn't feel special love for, she will give "giri (obligation)-choco (chocolate). Thanks to the practice, it is said chocolate sales on Valentines Day alone occupy 16% of annual sales.
I brought some  "giri "chocolate for my colleague yesterday. hahaha:)

Recently, however, there has been a change.
More and more women are buying chocolate as a treat for themselves.

One of our staff 'Akino' gave hand made choco to me . it was so nice!!!
Of course it was "giri-choco":)

March 14th is White Day in Japan.
On this day, men present gifts to women in return for the chocolate they were given on Valentine's Day.

I cant wait for White Day:)

I hope you had a wonderful valentine's day:)
