Cherry blossom
just ended their magical show and now it's time for the other flowers to show their beauty.
There are so many flowers are blooming in every temples and shrines in Kyoto .
Also the fresh green of Momiji leaves are so bright to our eyes.
I went to Honnen-in temple, one of my favorite temple in Kyoto .
When I'm gazing the moss, I almost find the wide universe within small world .
Blooming time! A lot of people might think there is not much to do or see for this moment in Kyoto.
no way no way, I think this is one of the best time of the year to visit Kyoto.
The weather is so mild and easy to chill out.
I wish I could show you how colorful they are and send you the gorgeous scent of those flowers.

SNOW
It started to snow in Kyoto. This year, even though it's not very cold usually, it snows a lot!! Last Saturday, it was snowing for 6 hours and I found 5 cm-snow on the roofs of my neighbours. I just couldn't believe how much it was snowing without end. Also tonight, according to the weather forecast, it will snow until tomorrow morning. I love to see snow when I'm at home, but now... I started to worry how I can go home with this weather.
However, if it snows a lot, you can see fantastic sceneries in Kyoto the morning after. Especially, the golden temple with snow is just fabulous. Please check the weather forecast and if it says it will snow, it's a day for you to come to Kyoto!! We and Kyoto covered with snow are waiting for your arrival.

Autumn is coming??
Hello. It's still very very hot in Kyoto even though we're already in September. However, in the evening we can see some dragonflies and we can feel cool breeze.
In autumn, the scenery in Kyoto is amazingly beautiful because you can see coloured trees everywhere and they make temples and shrines more attractive. Also, you can eat many delicious fruit, vegetables, fish ecc!! Today my collegues were eating sanma fish ( I don't love grilled fish, though.) and they were very much enjoying it saying ' Autumn is really good season to eat!' It's a pity that I don't like eating sanma fish, however, I'll love to eat other good vegetables, such as sweet potatoes, pumpkins and Japanese chestnuts!!
Prepare to come and visit us in autumn!!! You'll definitely love this season in Japan.

Typhoon N. 4
It's heavy rain here in Hiroshima today, and there is good reason why. A big typhoon is approaching ! It's allready made big damages in Okinawa and will probably be here tomorrow afternoon (saturday 14th). It's going or will go through Kyushu, Chugoku, Kansai and Kanto areas. Let says nobody will escape from it ! So if you plan to be in one of these areas these days, please keep in touch carefully with weather forecast. Planes, ferrys and maybe trains schedule could be delayed.
To check the position of the typhoon, use this link : http://www.jma.go.jp/jp/typh/ and click on the map to enlarge. It's written in japanese but I guess you will understand ! The red circle surrond the area of 25m/s winds, the yellow one the area of 15m/s winds, the white dot line follow the previewed movement of typhoon for next hours.
At last all the J-hoppers are of course strong buildings and will keep you dry and safe whatever the weather goes ! ;-) And we have a lot of books and games to keep you busy until sunshine comes back ! :-)
