German market at Osaka

We went the other day to Osaka and ended up going the German market under the Umeda Sky Building. As frequently, while I've been working 10mn walk from it during several years, it's only that I'm living far away that I went to enjoy it. Fortunately I realized it's been relevant to suggest it to the customers of J-Hoppers Osaka. Even if it's small, there is a lot of visitors and the atmosphere is merrily "christmastic" !!!

A big Christmas tree shines under the Sky Building and is surrounding by around 20 stalls. It remind me about France. Every cities hold its Christmas market the same way.

Stalls sold to visitors traditional candies, toy, decoration, sausages, ...

And the most important, beer of course !
Indeed I preferred a glass of hot wine. It's a mix of hot red wine and spices, it's very sweet and has a strong cinnamon flavour. In German it's said Glühwein.

You can have it served in little mug shaped as a snow boot and keep it for a little extra.

To accompany it, my suggestion would be these caramelized nuts.
After this light appetizer, francfort sausages and ginger bread will help you to forget the cold :-)

Entrance free
Until the 26th of December, from 17:00 everyday.
