I went to Hikone castle in Shiga prefecture.
Hikone ｃastle is one of four castles in Japan designated as National Treasures.

You can see Biwa lake from the castle. The Biwa lake is is the largest freshwater lake in Japan
There is a cute mascot for the castle called Hikonyan
His presence made the castle famous.
It was shame that we could not meet him because he was on business journey.He is always busy.
