Hiroshima Kagura
Hi there !This is Chika from J-Hoppers Hiroshima guesthouse.
It's getting colder and colder morning and evening.
I feel that Autumn has come.
If you are traveling in Japan in Autumn,You have an opportunity to see Autumn festil
everywhere in Japan.
In Hiroshima, we have Kagura shinto dance performance at Autamun festival.
Have you heard it before??
Kagura is aJapanes word referring to a specific type of Shinto theatrical dance—with roots arguably predating those of Noh.
I've seen this kagura since i was a child.so it is so familiar event for me.
If you haven't seen it yet,I definitely recommend it!
There is Kagura performance at Hiroshima Prefectural Citizen's Culture Center
every Wednesday.
It cost 1000yen per person and you could see two stories.
Here is more information!!
